Tuulacult is the techno project of Matěj Balcar, an artist from Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, carving his own path through the underground with a sound guided by instinct rather than rules. With roots in other genres, his music reflects whatever he’s feeling at the time, shaped by emotion, memory, or sometimes just a single word.

Since launching the project in 2023, Tuulacult has embodied a freeform and meditative approach to techno. Some tracks hit harder, others move slower. It always depends on the moment.

Outside the booth, Matěj helps support non-mainstream rave culture in the Czech Republic by organizing small, community-driven events. At the core of it all is a simple goal: to make music that’s honest and real.
